Our installation, exploring Deleuze and Guattari’s ideas about Marx’s analysis of the interdependence of society and the individual.

The individual is suspended by the system, existing in relation to others, in a constant state of tension, complicit in its own containment. The state, the society, the illusion of safety, is itself supported by the weight of individuals. The void beneath is a place of deterritorialisation, of existing beyond the system, of falling through the gaps and being uncontained.
